Anthem Chiropractic exists to help babies, moms, and families live free through neurologically-based chiropractic care.

Our approach to care includes gentle, specific adjustments tailored for every age, person, and scenario.

Our founder, Dr. Houston Rutledge, has years of experience caring for all ages, from newborns to nineties, but particularly has a heart for all things pediatric as well as perinatal care for moms (and moms-to-be)!

As we are getting started, we will be serving our community as a mobile practice. In other words, we come to you and your family wherever is most convenient!

Meet Dr. Houston Rutledge

Dr. Houston was born and raised on his grandparents’ farm in the small town of Cedartown, Georgia. Between farm life and his Papa being a retired Air Force chief, he was instilled with the importance of discipline, excellence, commitment, and hard work from an early age.

His chiropractic story began in 2012, when his wife (girlfriend at the time), Sarah, introduced him to Dr. Jeremy Hess. Before his first adjustment, Dr. Houston had suffered from a rare, debilitating form of migraines called hemiplegic migraines for several years. Once under consistent chiropractic care, he found relief, as well as improvement of asthma symptoms, mental health, and even better athletic performance.

After taking a couple of different paths, Dr. Houston landed at Life University in April 2018, where he would go on to graduate Magna Cum Laude in December 2021.

During school, Dr. Houston felt a burden to dive head first into serving the pediatric population—as well as moms (and moms-to-be)—as he learned how lives could be changed by starting out with a well-functioning nervous system. In pursuit of becoming the best chiropractor he can be for these populations, he spent his first couple of years in practice at one of Charlotte’s largest pediatric and family offices, as well as receiving his Proficiency in Pediatric and Family Chiropractic Care from The Pediatric Experience, and attending training in Webster Technique from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

When he isn’t taking care of practice members, Dr. Houston loves spending time with his wife and three kids, exploring outdoors, training at the gym, attending rodeos, and reading all kinds of books, particularly ones that will help him become the best chiropractor he can be for his community.
